A professionally designed wedding album

Tuesday, June 18th, 2019

In each of our wedding photography packages you will receive your wedding photos on usb in one of our elegant presentation boxes. This also includes a selection of prints to browse through. For those who love the tradition of a wedding album, you will be glad to hear this is also something we offer. Here are some photos from our latest album sent out. To showcase why its worth investing in a professionally designed wedding album.

Whats involved when ordering a wedding album?

Once you have viewed your wedding photos you have the option to order a wedding album. Some couples like to make a list of which photos to use. Where as other couples are happy to see what I put together. When the initial design process is complete you then receive a set of proofs. This gives you the chance to make any changes you would like to make. You then get a second set of proofs to check you are happy with the changes, before the album is sent off to production. Once we receive the album back from our suppliers we take the time to quality check each page. After all the time that goes in to designing a wedding album, it is always so nice to look through the finished product.

The difference with a professionally designed wedding album?

As nice as it can be designing your own wedding album, it can also be stressful. Finding the time, and getting the layout to flow and fit the space you are working to. So by having your wedding album professionally designed, you can have input where/ when you want to, with none of the stress. We are used to working with a set number of pages for an album. And know how to show as many images as possible with out crowding the pages. Making sure each page is balance with colour photos vs black and white photos. If a couple have chosen favourites for their album then we make sure these are displayed larger on the page. Each page has a unique layout to best display the selection of images that will be shown on it. This also means the album layout doesn’t get repetitive.

Pre Wedding Shoot Inspiration

Friday, April 26th, 2019

As part of the wedding photography packages at Lindsey Arber Photography, a pre wedding shoot is included for all couples when booking us for your wedding photography. Not every couple will choose to have a pre wedding shoot. But the option is there and why not make the most of some professional photos of you both.

Are you considering a pre wedding shoot?

A pre wedding shoot gives you a chance to capture some nice photos of you and your partner. It also gives us a chance to spend a bit of time getting to know each other. Just a little bit more, before the day itself. A lot of my couples mention those nerves of being in front of a camera. It’s surprising how many people feel the same. The pre wedding shoot is a great way of showing couples just how relaxed my approach is. By the end of the shoot couples always comment how glad they were to have had the photos taken. How it helps to calm any nerves. No more worrying about it, as you now know what to expect and that it can also be fun.

If you are planning to book your pre wedding shoot in soon, here are a few handy tips that might make for a useful read.

So here are quite a few photos from a selection of pre wedding shoots for you to all browse through. And just to pre warn you, there will be lots of smiles, laughter, hugs and kisses. They might just give you some inspiration for your own pre shoot too…
