Wedding photo favourites from 2018

Wedding photo favourites from 2018

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019

Sitting here at the start of 2019, with a whole new year ahead. A great time to share a few wedding photo favourites from 2018.

The perfect start to a great year-

2018 was the year we welcomed baby Finley in to the world and began our journey as parents. A journey that is the most rewarding but also challenging as i’m sure you know. When I found out we were expecting Finley, I decided to keep the 2018 calendar slighting quieter. I knew I would be adjusting to life with a baby, but it was so important to give my business the attention it needed. Especially when your business is your other baby. So keeping the diary a bit quieter was the perfect solution. This meant I still got to photograph a selection of beautiful weddings, and my clients still received the high end quality service I like to give.

At the very start of 2018 I had the time to put all of the changes in place to get the business branding to where I wanted it to be moving forward. Perfect timing as it fitted in with the changes the year ahead had in store. The new design style fell in to place so well and I really love the new logo. It’s been so nice hearing such positive feedback from everyone too.

Teaming up with local suppliers-

I got to work with some amazing local suppliers for product and styled shoots. Each shoot has been so successful we are already getting dates in the diary and planning more for 2019. Having so much talent in a room where you start with an idea and pull together to create the final images is so exciting. All images will be shared with you all as and when more shoots happen. They are a great tool of inspiration for anyone yet to wed. Or if you are already married then something you can share with friends who are wedding planning.

Feeling blessed-

Each wedding of 2018 bought laughter and so much love. I feel I have always been lucky to have such lovely couples book me to photograph their wedding day. Something that continued with my 2018 weddings.

So I have picked out some wedding photo favourites from 2018 below. Each time I look back through a wedding or a styled shoot I end up having new favourites and the list grows. You can probably tell from how many photos are below! So I have tried to keep my favourites selection as minimal as possible, and here it is-

A huge thank you to all of the couples who booked me as their wedding photographer in 2018. As always it has been a pleasure to capture those moments for you all. I can only hope for more of the same in 2019 and am already looking forward to working with other local suppliers more.

If you are planning your 2019 or 2020 wedding are are looking for a photographer, please do get in touch and we can talk through what you are looking for.
